How 3 and 4-ply yarns create more durable socks

SKILLS NEEDED BEFORE BEGINNING:
This workshop is geared for an advanced beginner/intermediate spinner. So what does that look like? If you have the following skills you will be ready to take this class:
Spin a continuous & relatively consistent single
Comfortable with plying 2 bobbins (experience plying 3 or 4 bobbins is a plus)
Spinning fine (20+ wraps per inch)
Understanding of ratios/spinning speed
How to finish your yarn to prepare it for knitting (winding it off, washing it/finishing it, etc.)
Familiar with different fiber preparations and tools (commercially prepared combed top, hand carders, flickers, wool combs and diz)
Fiber prep isn’t the main focus of this workshop, so you can use commercially prepared top with great success)
LENGTH OF WORKSHOP:
2 hours of video instruction comprised of lectures, demos, and participant challenges.
