Online handspinning and dyeing videos, demos, and interviews

In addition to the on-demand handspinning and dyeing workshops, books, and color matching formulas, I’ve also created a lot of video content for handspinners, dyers, and other fiber enthusiasts.

Here you can find video:

  • Demos: Like how to spin a beehive coil yarn,

  • Interviews: Like podcasts that I’ve been on

  • Conversations: Engaging discussions with fellow fiber artists, dyers, shepherds, and other individuals that are part of the fabric of the fiber arts community. In these chats you’ll get to hear more about what got these individuals excited about being part of the fiber arts community and the amazing products and projects they create and sell.

If you have any suggestions of other content you would like to see, you can send me a message letting me know.

How to make “combed top” using your drumcarder

What is the difference between using combs vs a drum carder in the resulting fiber preparation?

For me personally, I love using my drum carder to create batts but I also use it for preparing my worsted top. Yes, using combs is the "authentic" way to create top, but I think my preparation approach is even better, what do you think?
