Medium: Handspun hand dyed handwoven fabric.

Materials: Wool, cotton and synthetic fibers, reclaimed frame (frame is removable)

Inspiration: This weaving started with the red dyed wool locks that reminded me of Ariel’s hair from the movie “Little Mermaid”. I then tried to interpret all the characters from the movie using other fiber elements for Sebastian, Flounder, and Ursula as the Octopus with undulating curly wool tentacles.
