Plying beyond the basics
Description
Just like there are many ways to spin fiber into singles there are many ways to ply those singles to create different yarns. This workshop starts off with basic plying using 2 bobbins and then builds on that knowledge to explore other plying possibilities for your handspun singles.
What you need to know before taking the workshop:
how to spin a continuous yarn on a wheel
how to ply from 2 bobbins.
You'll leaving know how to:
chain ply or Navajo ply singles
cable ply yarn
create novelty yarns like:
coils/beehives
knotted yarns
beaded yarns (full day)
1/2 day or full day
